Seriously last night was SO much fun.

Thank you to everyone for coming out, thanks for dancing for singing and Hee-Heeing along with us. It wouldn’t have been nearly as spook-tacular without you.

Thank you to El Rio for hosting the show, to Candice for running sound, to Friends W/O Benefits, Babewatch, Turtle Rising for your killer sets and often revealing costumes. This photo taken by Martin from Pass Go MGMT sums up our experience nicely.

Dang! we can’t wait for Saturday at The Crepe Place.

Thriller Fun Fact #1:

Michael Jackson, a Jehovah’s Witness, ALMOST ordered the Thriller video footage to be destroyed when he found out that the religious group disapproved of its subject matter (werewolves, the undead etc).

Luckily, he came around when the producers added a disclaimer to the beginning of the video which states: “Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult.”

And in case you didn’t know, we’re playing the album Thriller this Thursday in San Francisco and Saturday in Santa Cruz. That’s Fun Fact #2.

Thank you to the Ivy Room for hosting Bear Lincoln’s monthly for the last 10 cycles ‘round the moon. Last Friday was our FINAL residency show at the Ivy.

And while we’ll miss drinking mezcal with Ronaldo and watching risqué movies on its many many TV screens, we’re excited for future shows in the East Bay and the opportunity to play here again sometime soon (trust us, we’ll be back!!!)….

Thank you all the good folks in Albany treating us like kings; keep in touch for future East Bay shows (hint hint December 13th) and mucho mucho mas.

Adios,
-BL
